CURRENT FEASIBILITY STUDY ON INFLUENCING THE MENTAL HEALTH OF CHINESE COLLEGE STUDENTS

In recent years, the mental health problems of Chinese college students have received different degrees of attention from society. By 2024, the proportion of mental disorders among Chinese college students has increased. According to recent research and survey data, about 40% to 45% of Chinese college students have different degrees of mental health problems, among which the prevalence of depression is about 30% to 40%. The proportion of anxiety is between 20% and 30%, especially in recent years, China has increased employment pressure, mobile phone addiction and other problems. It makes the mental health of college students worse and worse, and students with serious mental problems can only drop out or take medication. Therefore, the psychological problems of Chinese college students have reached the point of having to be solved. This paper mainly discusses the factors that affect the mental health of college students. The study seeks to investigate the possibility of manipulating the mental health of Chinese university students using particular methods. It determines how healthy these individuals are at present, pinpoints some major causes of stress and measures several interventions’ possible efficacy. The research embraces a mixed-methods approach by involving quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews in order to provide an all-inclusive analysis. At present, there are many factors affecting college students' mental health, mainly family factors, social factors, personal factors and so on. The aim is to evaluate the specific impact of these factors on the mental health of college students and put forward feasible solutions and countermeasures to provide a scientific basis for the formulation of relevant psychology policies in the state and schools.
