Abstract:
The students that arrive in the classrooms these days have different learning styles requires our consideration be given of the use of models that support and promote students' motivation for learning and the development of their creative thinking skills. Computer Science Programming teachers use several strategies to achieve student learning. Average students are satisfied with the knowledge obtained through the activities indicated in the course program.

To innovate in the educational process so that students find more meaning in their learning process is essential to incorporate the experience of similar situations in real work, motivating constant improvement and stimulating the development of problem-solving.

Research suggests that when teachers challenge students with problems according to reality, it increases their confidence and motivation for learning in them.

In this case study, we share the experience of incorporating a "challenge" in the Analysis and Design of Algorithms course, where through the simulation of a job interview of a software development company, students are motivated to work "an extra time". This challenge was divided into 3 circuits of training with different topics in groups of computer science students.
