Abstract:
After implementing a fully customized eLearning portal, the author, as a lecturer managing his courses and more than 1000 enrolled students, realized there are a great number of limitations in using such portal which is depriving him of innovation and improving his teaching style and the delivery of new courses content. In the beginning, developing and using the portal gave new possibilities and opportunities for the management of the students’ enrollments. Although, later, the author realized the convenience that the portal provided in various ways is acting as a limitation for the user and the system. Last year, TechClass represented a paper that what could be the possible solutions that can tackle such limitations and bring more productivity and possibility. As a result, TechClass suggested progressing from an eLearning portal to a Smart Online Learning Community to enable the students to be aware from each other and bring possibilities to make the learning process more effective and fun. TechClass introduced Community First approach for all the decisions for directing the platform into a path which can guarantee more effective deliveries and implementations. In this paper, TechClass is representing the results of implementing the core of such a new platform. Such release will pave the way for implementing the Community First features.
