Health, safety & admission requirements

We are glad that INTED2022 will be held in-person in Valencia again. Health and safety for all participants is our main priority.

In order to ensure a safe environment, we have planned different INTED2022 health and safety regulations for all participants and presenters. If the situation changes, additional or modified measures will be announced here.

Arriving in Spain:

Due to continuous changes in the national regulations for travellers coming to Spain, we strongly recommend participants to keep informed about the latest travel information for the countries you are travelling from.

Also, you can find additional requirements depending on the country you come from.

Access to the conference area:

Only vaccinated or recovered people will be admitted.

In order to have access to the conference area, participants must provide an Identification Card and one of the following documents:

  • Proof of full vaccination of COVID-19
    or
  • Proof of recovery of COVID-19 (antibodies)

These documents will have to be uploaded in the conference platform before February 7th. Please note that these documents should be digitally verifiable.

In addition to this, all attendees will be required to wear a medical or FFP2 facemasks while they are in the conference area.

A safe venue:

Both venues, Palacio de Congresos de Valencia and Hotel Melia Valencia, have strict measures to provide a health and risk-free environment.

Different measures will be implemented to ensure a safe area for all attendees. Among others, these measures include:

  • Facemasks requirement
  • Disinfection and constant cleanliness of used areas
  • Safe acting with Food and Beverage
  • Availability of sanitizer gel stations

You can find more details on these measures here:
