This hands-on workshop will focus on the use of technology to support teaching and learning. The trainer, Wendy Gorton (www.edtechteam.com), will take participants through an interactive walk-through of exemplars and artifacts of student learning involving Google’s free suite of collaborative tools.
The content will focus on the use of Google Apps (and other Google tools) in education. Specifically, content will focus on advanced use of Google Search and the core Apps of Google Mail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, and Google Sites.
Additional Google tools, including Blogger, Google Maps, YouTube and others will also be included. Attendees will be prepared to join our online community, Twitter, and find resources for continuing their learning journey.

Attendees will have access to a variety of informative and hands-on material.
