The workshop will explore new roles for AI in teaching, learning and assessment such as: Possibility Engine, Socratic Opponent, Co-Designer and Dynamic Assessor. Based on the book “Practical Pedagogy: 40 New Ways to Teach and Learn”, the workshop will cover: opportunities and limitations of generative AI in education, how to prompt AI tools to teach and assess, and how to design educational chatbots. This will be a hands-on session with current AI tools and language models.
