The Internet of Things offers a whole new area of opportunity interacting with the world that we live in yet despite affordability, ease-of-use and accessibility, many of us still shy away from playing with technology.

Using a playful approach, this workshop enables participants to create something simple with cardboard, buttons, and ‘bits’ to ‘build your own computer interface’ (via the sensor board) – to control something in Scratch.

By familiarity and overcoming fear of making mistakes educators can lead from the front and enable by example.
