Seville is a very accessible city. Daily flights from all parts of the world land in Madrid. From Madrid, you can take a high-speed train (AVE) that will bring you to the centre of Seville in less than two and a half hours.

There are also direct flights from Paris and London and from other Spanish cities like Alicante, Valencia, Bilbao, Las Palmas, Tenerife, Madrid and Barcelona.

Seville Airport is located 12 kilometres to the north of the city, on the A4 highway (known as E05 in the International E-road network), which connects Seville and its ringroad with Madrid. Getting from the Airport into the centre of Seville is easy and quick:

If you catch a Seville Airport Taxi the journey will take you around 15 mins and costs between €15 and €22 depending on which time of day you travel. The taxi rank is just outside the terminal building.

If you want to reach Seville city centre (Plaza de Armas) by bus, there is an urban transport line that connects both points. The journey takes 30 minutes. The one-way ticket costs €4, and you can buy the ticket on board the bus.

The Santa Justa Train Station in Seville was completed in 1991. It is located in the eastern part of Seville's city centre. The Santa Justa Station provides service to Madrid via the AVE trains.

The AVE is a high-speed train. Having reasonable fares and flexible schedules, the AVE connects Madrid and Seville in 2 hours and 20 minutes, 15 times a day.

Ticket control and passport checks will occur at the station before boarding the AVE train. Note that the gate closes 2 minutes prior to the trains’ departure time and the entire train is non-smoking.
